Intuitive Painting Sessions

An evening session: people painting at small easels around a long table, with wine glasses between them

Small painting evenings in Singapore, built around one question: what do you feel like doing next?

Painting has become the place where I notice my relationship with control, uncertainty and self-trust. These sessions make room for other people to explore the same things, through the decisions they make while they paint.

There's no image to reproduce and no reference to get right. Instead of working toward a planned result, you notice what you're drawn to, follow it, and change direction when you want to, without having to explain why.

An evening can begin with a short grounding meditation, then move into guided exercises and time to explore on your own. The group is small and the pace is slow. It's meant to feel warm and social, not like a lesson.

They aren't traditional painting classes, and they aren't art therapy. The point isn't to make something impressive or correct. It's to get more comfortable not knowing where a painting is going, and to make choices without checking whether they're the right ones.

There's nothing to get right here.
