A new series in progress.

Ways of Growing began with an interest in flowers less as individual subjects and more as part of a living, growing field.

I’m interested in forms that overlap, move in different directions and seem to make room for one another — and in letting the painting develop without deciding too early where everything should go.

A Field of Their Own is the first work in this ongoing series.
